NAME
chrisheath — Chris Heath, systems administrator
Twenty-plus years keeping Windows, Linux, and the occasional midrange box talking to each other.
SYNOPSIS
chrisheath [--active-directory] [--vmware] [--ubuntu] [--ibm-i]
[--domino] [--pki] {--powershell | --bash}
DESCRIPTION
I'm a generalist systems administrator in manufacturing. The work spans Active Directory, VMware, a growing fleet of Ubuntu servers and Raspberry Pis, IBM i, Notes/Domino, internal PKI, and whatever else happens to be on fire that day.
I script in PowerShell on Windows and Bash everywhere else. Given the choice, I'll take the boring, documented one-liner over the clever solution nobody can maintain.
I've been in IT since the dial-up days, and this site has been online since 2005. Most of what's here is notes I wanted to find again, plus some writing that isn't about computers at all.
