In April 2005, Symantec's Norton anti-virus provided a false positive against Spybot Search & Destroy, a popular anti-spyware application. After being ignored by Symantec, they went public. Well Symantec is at it again, now they are advising to users that they should remove Spybot because of "incompatibilities" with Norton Ghost.
